Lab News

Rupkatha was granted the Bishop Neuroscience Travel Award to attend and present a poster at 2019 ASCB/EMBO Meeting in Washington, DC on December 7th--11th, 2019.

 

TJ was awarded the Bishop Neuroscience Travel Award to attend, present a poster, and give a talk at Society for Neuroscience's 49th Annual Meeting in Chicago on October 19-23rd, 2019.

 

Rupkatha gave a talk at Jacobs SMBS 13th Annual Neuroscience Research Day on October 11th, 2019 and was awarded Best Talk. 

 

Rupkatha  presented a poster at UB's CURCA Celebration of Student Academic Success on April 25th, 2019 and received the award for UB Outstanding Research, Scholarship, and Creativity. 

Nicco went to Dallas in March, 2019 and presented at the Annual Drosophila Research Conference. 

Nicco was awarded the Victoria Finnerty Undergraduate travel Award from the Genetics Society of America to attend the 60th Annual Drosophila Research Conference in Dallas, Texas on Mar 27 - 31, 2019 

TJ was awarded  the ASCB Graduate Student Travel Award, the Pizzela & Ayala Award, and the Bishop Neuroscience Travel Award to attend the 2018 ASCB/EMBO Annual Meeting in San Diego, California on December 8-12, 2018.

Rupkatha was awarded the Pizzela & Ayala Award and the Bishop Neuroscience Travel Award to attend and give a talk at the Society for Neuroscience Conference in San Diego, California from November 3-7, 2018. Rupkatha also presented her work at the Graduated Research Showcase hosted by the Department of Biological Sciences on November 1, 2018
